This morning, I came across something that stayed with me.

It talked about how life can feel like driving down a long highway… with mile markers along the way.

At first, the markers are far apart.
You go through something stressful, and your body settles again.

But over time, life speeds up. Responsibilities grow. Pressure builds.

And those “mile markers” start getting closer and closer together.

Until one day… your body doesn’t fully settle anymore.
It just stays slightly tense. Slightly on guard.

And you don’t even notice it.

You’re still functioning.
Still showing up.
Still getting things done.

But underneath it all… you’re bracing.

That really spoke to me.

Because sometimes we think we need to change everything all at once—new habits, new routines, new mindset.

But when your body is already holding so much… even positive change can feel like pressure.

So instead of trying to fix everything, what if we just start by noticing?

Not judging.
Not rushing.
Just noticing.

Your breath.
Your shoulders.
Your pace.

Sometimes awareness is the first shift.
